Now that you have had a chance to see how important our work on the vernal pools is, why not come out and help us? There is much work to do, primarily planting rushes and sedges around the perimeter of the pools. We want a spiffy place for the salamanders that they will be eager to come and live in!

Planting is not very difficult work at all and if you come with a group you will find that the time just flies by. You can come for just a couple of hours or spend a half-day or longer with us. If you have a shovel, you can bring it along. Even if you don't we can provide you with a shovel when you arrive. We are very happy to have school groups, religious groups, community groups or families come and join us.

If you are interested in more information about our planting schedule and other activities, please drop us a line at magic@ecomagic.org or phone us at (650) 323-7333. We'll be glad to hear from you!
